The apartment is on the top floor of a
historic building called "Casa di Annalena" and faces onto the famous Bobli
Gardens.
The building was donated by Cosimo de'
Medici to Annalena Malatesta who, upon the death of her husband, Baldaccio di
Anghian, victor of the battle of his namesake (1440), transformed it into a
convent. Still today, at the entrance of the greenhouse below the building, you
can see written "Horti Annalenae" (Annalena's Gardens) while at the entrance of
the Boboli Gardens, situated in front of the building, is called "Porta di
Annalena" (Annalena's Door).

reach by foot all of the principle museums of the historic city center. The bus
