I call myself a "daughter of
Dante", the Florence native considered the founder of modern Italian. Because of
Dante, and a lot of other terribly creative people (e.g. Michelangelo, Da Vinci,
Fra Angelico, Botticelli, Giotto, and so many more) I grew up with the
incredible cultural heritage that all Florentines enjoy. As happens all too
often in life, I didn't appreciate these gifts until I met my American husband
and traveled the world with him. It was only through living in other cultures
that I came to truly value what was actually mine by birth.
My husband and I have always
maintained a country home about 25 miles (40 kilometers) outside of Florence.
Several of our local friends had beautiful places to rent but no exposure to
marketing. Knowing that I resided in the States they asked me to assist them.
That's how I got into my start in the Tuscan villa rental business.
My husband and I now reside in Atlanta, Georgia.
I've discovered that there is a tremendous interest in all things Italian here
in the U.S. And it is here to have the rather privilege to share my language and
cultural heritage with others. I teach Italian in a local university. However, I
get my biggest satisfaction by working with my customers on defining the
objectives of their visits to Italy and planning their trips for their maximum
enrichment and enjoyment.
